Hello Dear Friends... I'm Seckin Erel, alias Axakadam. My life, begun in Istanbul 56 years ago, has been spent in Strasbourg for the past 22 years or so. I am unfortunately bewitched by feminine nude photography, simply because my timid nature. It all begun the day I found a Polaroid SX-70 at a flea market, at a time when films were refreshingly accessible to my pocket. After a brief spell of digital frustration, distinguished by hundreds of hours of lamenting the allmighty Photoshop, I have immersed myself yet again in the packs of instant films, of all possible formats and expiry dates with all sort of chemical suprises which are now helping me somehow to catch a glimpse of a countenance behind a skin or a face and their inacessible tempest. I know this is not a great achievement… but it is endless enough. My work is somehow published and I regularly participate in instant photography exhibitions mainly in Arles, Köln and Paris.
