Christmas at the Ambassadors
The Ambassadors residence was originally built by a coal barron in the early 1900's. The US government eventually purchased the property after WWII for a small price and forgiven war debt. Every since this has been the representational house for the US Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
The entry hall presents a remarkable setting for guest of the Ambassador. This year the Christmas tree is center adding to the presentation.
The Christmas tree is hand picked and decorated by a local orphanage annually. This is quite a treat for the kids to visit the residence.
Although the entry area of the residence is large the Christmas tree make a dominate presence.
The paino adorn with a garland harp reinforces the Christmas atmosphere with extensive details.
Even the staircase to the living quarters are decorated for the season.
