The artist was born in 1977 in Olsztyn. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, where he defended his diploma in 2002 under the supervision of Professor Stanisław Trzeszczkowski. He devoted the first three years of his studies to honing his skills in the painting and drawing studio led by Professor Wojciech Sadley, and then studied under the tutelage of professors Piotr Obarek and Wiesław Bieńkuński. His master’s thesis was reviewed by Professor Stanisław Andrzejewski.
He also gained international educational experience, obtaining an HND in Visual Communication at the University of Edinburgh in 2009, under the guidance of teacher Helen Good.
Since 2010, he has been professionally engaged in cinematography, providing visual content for Getty Images. He was introduced to the world of film by the former dean of the Łódź Film School, Professor Janusz Połom.
